USA army crime After I see presenter's question I think The law between Korea and USA should be changed and should have to improve. It is unfair. These day, many USA army has been Itaewon and Dongduchon and Yong san. They commit a lot of crimes in Korea. Specially rape!!! This is a serious a problem. Already Korea and USA have SOFA. SOFA is if USA armies have stayed in Korea they sholud follow in Korea law. But If they practice special mission, both laws apply in Korea. But reality is not. Althought USA army should follow law in Korea, They commit the crime. Because Korean government don't resist to American government about USA army crime because USA armies help to protect to break up war in Korea. Rather American government press Korean government whenever that kind of accidents is happened in Korea. It is unfair. Korean government should change SOFA. All of armies follow Korean law if they come to Korea. They should respect Korean people if they come to Korea like their countries people. And American government let to recognize American armies to act carefully if they come to Korea. And if they commit the crime, American government don't interfere Korean law. Just this is happened in Korea. We don't also interfere American law if Korean commit the crime in America.

Marijuana

After I listen to the presentation about Marijuana, I wonder the standard of the drug. The presenter explain marijuana is better than cigarettes. Because Marijuana has no addiction like cigarettes. But I don't agree presenter's opinion. Presenters show the statistic about the rate of death when we smoke marijuana or cigarettes. It is showed cigarettes are more harmful than marijuana for our health. Of course it's ok. But some one who smoked marijuana makes social issue. If people smoke marijuana, their feeling is changed. They don't themselves so sometimes it causes social issue. So we should prohibit smoking marijuana. That's why marijuana is called as drug.

And presenters give a question whether it should be allowed or not if someone smoke in other country. I think it should be allowed if someone smoke in other country. But if someone take marijuana to Korea, it should not be allowed. Because each countries have national laws. For exmple, G dragon smoked in Japan. If Japan allow to smoke marijuana, i think we are not responsiblity to give a penalty to Gdragon. But G dragon smoke marijuana in Korea, he should receive a penalty in Korea. I think it depend on each country's law.

The Wedding Customs in Korea

The presenters have talked about the customs of marriage in South Korea. They’ve mentioned the traditional wedding, methods for a man and a woman to find its partner, divorce rate, and common modern wedding style. I have impressed traditional wedding, divorce rate in their presentation.
I wanna discuss about traditional wedding, divorce rate. At that time the question is if i get a married which one do i choose between traditional wedding and current wedding. But I think traditional wedding is really important to keep. But it is not matched reality. Now days traditional wedding price is really more expensive than current wedding ceremony. Before couples get a married, some people should prepare a lot of foods. So this is expensive. And it is so complicated how to get a married. And Korean traditional wedding usaully have the place outside. It depends on the weather. It is not efficient wedding ceremony.
I tell divorce rate as one of impressed discussion. These day it is difficult to get a job. Men usually have a job 28 years old. Women have a job 25 years old. This age is getting higher than 10years ago. Most people who prepare to get a job go the abroad for english study. Then they have spend for one year. As soon as they come back they try to get a professional certification. So they take a breaktime in their university at least once. Then their graduation time is getting later. They have no time to meet girl. So men and women meet under the condition. They just judge their ability and appearance and background. They have no choice to get a married. And they have no time to meet each other after they get a married because they are so busy. This problem make more serious problem like divorce. To solve this proble, before we get a married we seriously consider our partner. We shouldn't just see ability and appearance. Ony you should feel your love for your partner. We never meet our partner under the condition.

Should be Amazon developed?

Amazon rainforest is one of the best natural resources in the world. Here is lung of earth why Oxyzen recycle carbon dioxide. It makes 20% of Oxyzen in the world.
Amazon river starts from Andes mountain range in Peru to east area in Brazil. The width of Amazon river is 1mile. It flows to Atlantic ocean. There are many animals
such as 500 mammals and 175 lizards and 300 other reptiles. One third of birds live in Amazon. And many natives lived approximately 10 millions Indians 500 years ago. After 1900 year, over 90 tribes was destroyed. so natives under 2 hundred thousand remain these day.
Selvasu is the place in the most dense forest. This place supplies many oxyzen to earth. and have been many natural resources.
So Brazil as the most indebted one of countries makes a plan to improve national economy throughout the development of this region.
But America, Japan, Europe opposite the development of Selvasu. Because if Brazil cut trees of dense forest and construct the city or farm or pasture, Oxyzen of the world will gradually reduce. Oppositionists of developed countries mention the environment problem is not the problem of specific country but it is the problem of the world. Brazilian government admit the preservation of the environment but don't want to give up the industry and a development policy to lag behind developed countries.
I think if Amazon is developed we can get a big advantage for our economy. But we should think our future. We just come to the earth for a while but it's not ours. We should give our young generation to this place. So we have to preserve Amazon.

Student human right

These day, Seoul council pass the law about student rights ordinance. It is really important to make a kind of law. Students is really weak existance in society. Many teachers and bad people try to use weakness of students in law. But nowdays, it is changed the situation perpectly after passing the law. This law also makes many social problem in school.

First, the teacher's authority gradually lose in school. Although some students take bad action, the teacher don't mention to students. If the teacher annoy students, they tell the teacher to their parents and they lie the teacher is so bad. Many parents are angry and next day they go to the school. Their parents annoy the teacher who gives the purnishment. School also press the teacher. So the teacher don't mention to students even though some students are wrong.

Second, Some students bother the teacher. We can see the media on website. When students have a class, they dance and they usually ask the teacher about embarrassing questions. Specially woman teacher is more serious than man teacher. It is sexual harrassment for some students to woman teacher.
How can we solve this social problems??

I think Seoul council should decide the law about student human law again.
Students need to be controled by teacher. Teacher is a job to teach and to correct student's false. But many students don't ignore the teacher's advise and discipline. In that case, teacher need the punishment to control for students. Excessive punishment is harmful for student like using body. But proper punishment like using tools is useful to control for students.

Minimum Wage of Korea

When I went in Austrailia, I was suprised when I earned money. It has the wage gap between Korean wage and Austrailian wage. Korea has become developed country in appoximately 10 years. Korea is included in 20th of the GDP rank with Austrailia. You can see in . In The rank of GDP per one person is also high. But we can't understand this fact why Korean minimum wage is one of the lowest countries. I consider about this problem.

Korea has developed so fastly if it compares other developed countries. GDP has also increased much more than before. But minimum wage is only increased fewer than before. Because Korea has just human resources. Only human resources are how to win against other countries in the market competition. If human resources are more expensive, it may be difficult to win against other countries in the market competition. And foreign workers such as south east Asian and Chinese try to get a job in Korea because Korean ecomomy is better than south east Asia. But it makes problems because inflation is appeared these day. Price compared to minimum wage is higher.It is difficult for poor workers to live. It is hard for big city people to live because of unbalanced minimum wage compared to price in each area. Usually big city price is more expensive than countiries. But minimum wage is almost same big city and countries. It is unfair.

The govenment makes a policy for minimum wage depending on the price in each area. If Seoul is more expensive than other city like Dae gu, Pusan,
they should give the minimum wage matched the price of each city. And Korean economy have been developed more in the future. Like other developed countries, the goverment should try to consider about satisfaction of workers.

"The Jeju Naval Base Project"

I heard about "the Jeju Naval Base Project" through the presentation in class. I was surprised because Jeju island became UNESCO and the seventh of the tourist spot in the world. Many counries are also trying to protect the beautiful nature of Jeju. But Korean government try to make a plan about the Jeju Nava Baxe Project. Why do they they have this plan? We should have to know and consider about this issue.

Korean government make a project to build the Jeju naval base in Kang-jung village. Because Jeju is located in middle of China and Japan. That place is near from two countries more than other area in Korea. And it is easy for USA troop to assist to Korea. So they can press the North Korea and China easily. If we build this base, we can threaten around the country like Japan which has instied that Dokdo is in their territory, China, North Korea.

But it is just short thoughts. I think if we make this base, there arrays limited army and no threaten arms. So they can't threaten around the countiries, just waste money. Rather it will give a disadvantage to the economy and the environment of Jeju. First the environment is destroyed because of naval base. The contaminants in naval base will pollute the sea and all ecosystem. Second, Due to destroyed environment, the value of tourist spot in Jeju will be gradually declined. It will be canceled in UNESCO.
